Different backgrounds but similar interests: Louis from Canovanas PR and Charlie from Savannah GA. One an Horticulturist the other a Museum Tour Guide. Both with a common interest in agriculture and in Puerto Rico. The tour was great and fun. We even had a taste of Mamey: a tropical fruit which used to be very common in Puerto Rico but is now very rare. The larger consideration was building a relationship based on our common interests.
At Hacienda Taino we go beyond the traditional tour: we want to build a lasting relationship based on common interests: agriculture, the history of Puerto Rico and sustainability.
